Visit from a LARGE ANIMAL VET

Meet large animal veterinarian Emmy Schuurmans and learn how farm animals are cared for and kept healthy. This interactive visit will give students a real-world look at veterinary work on the farm.

Ages: 4-12

Every semester (Fall/Spring), each participating student’s parent is asked to assist with one to two classes. As you register, please email Emma (estoetzel12@gmail.com) with which month or two you’d be available to help out. You are not expected to have anything prepared, just be available to help distribute materials to kids and lend a hand during the class.
